Jeremy Nelson, MS, LPCC-S
Therapist & Founder
Jeremy Nelson is a licensed professional clinical counselor and the founder of Dayton Anxiety Counseling & Consultation, a practice specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders, OCD, and related conditions.
Jeremy earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Taylor University, where he also competed as a collegiate football player. That experience shaped his appreciation for discipline, resilience, and the importance of structured training—principles that continue to inform his clinical work today. He went on to complete his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wright State University, receiving advanced training in empirically supported treatments for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Jeremy’s approach to therapy is structured, practical, and compassionate. He helps clients move away from avoidance and reassurance-seeking and toward skill development, confidence, and meaningful, values-driven living. Treatment is collaborative and active, with a focus on helping clients understand how anxiety works—and how to respond to it differently.
Jeremy works especially well with individuals who feel stuck despite insight, who value a clear plan, and who are ready to do the work required for lasting change.
